About Blood Relations Blog
The relation that binds the worldwide bleeding disorders community together is the similarity in our blood. Blood Relations Blog is an effort to reach out to the global hemophilia and bleeding disorders community. Communicating with other persons with bleeding disorders has always made me feel more comfortable and confident about living with one myself. BRB aims to find ways to provide this comfort and confidence to our fellow bleeders. I also hope that this effort will help unaffected persons know more about our global bleeding disorders family.
About Me
I am Vaibhav Nehra, a young guy with hemophilia A from New Delhi, India. I was 3 months old when I was diagnosed with hemophilia and my parents were told that I will have to live with it for all my life. Getting an education has been one of the biggest challenges I faced, with negligible attendance at school and a very low level of awareness about hemophilia among the general public. Constant support from family and friends made it an achievable target. For me, a passion for life ends up meaning a passion for life with a bleeding disorder by default. And it can be very lively.
